9/11/13 Elk Herd Locations
Today there was only 1 rutting herd that was obvious in the valley near the Ponca Access. I caught the herd in the river, but there was light fog. I am sure the herds that have been visible have retreated into deep cover to escape the heat. Beginning Friday all of that will change.
